William Hukuimwe
Managing director
Mr William Hukuimwe is the RYTE LIFTS CEO. He underwent and completed apprenticeship in Electrical Power Engineering and rose up to Diploma level in the same field before embarking onto the administration side of the business where he acquired a degree in Marketing and a Masters degree in Business Administration. He worked in various private companies before joining the exciting elevator and escalator industry in January 1994 with Schindler Lifts as a maintenance Technician:
- He underwent several in-house trainings on lifts and escalator functionality, maintenance and business management at Schindler Head Office in Johannesburg, South Africa
- He became Service Leader in 2001 to 2016 when management changed to Schindwe
- He was appointed Sales and Marketing Manager in 2016 until termination from Schindwe in May 2020 before becoming CEO of Ryte Lifts (Pvt) Ltd
William has a total of more than Twenty Seven Years in the elevator and escalator industry.
Tineyi Ngairongwe
Technical Support
- Tineyi Ngairongwe is RYTE LIFTS DIRECTOR OF
INSTALLATIONS AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT
- He underwent apprenticeship training in Electrical Engineering at Zimphos Company in Zimbabwe for the first two years of the course before Joining Schindler lifts for the second two years of his apprenticeship training.
- underwent intensive in-house trainings on elevator and escalator installation and commissioning before being appointed to the position of Field Engineer in 2008
- holds Schindler product safety and product quality certificates.
- Worked in several countries in Sub Saharan Africa on assignments sanctioned by Schindler Head Office in Johannesburg, South Africa.
- migrated to New Zealand in August 2017 where he worked for Schindler Lifts in that country for two years where he was appointed to the position of South Island Team Leader
- rejoined Schindwe in 2019 where he resumed his position of Field Engineer as well as being Branch Manager of Schindwe Lifts Bulawayo.
- All in all Tineyi has more than Fifteen years of experience in the Elevator and Escalator Industry
Knowledge Mukahiwa
Procurement & Logistics
- Knowledge Mukahiwa is RYTE LIFTS DIRECTOR OF
PROCUREMENT & LOGISTICS
- He underwent apprenticeship training course in Electrical
Engineering at the then Circle Cement for the period 1997 to 2001
- He joined the then Schindler Lifts Zimbabwe as a Maintenance Technician soon after completing his apprenticeship course
- He joined Schindler Johannesburg in South Africa in 2008 where he was appointed to the positions of Senior
Technician and Trouble Shooter
- He went on to win the prestigious Technician Of The Year award in Johannesburg in 2015
- He then came back home in 2016 and joined the now Schindwe Lifts where he was appointed to the positions of Field Engineer as well as being a Maintenance Manager in 2017
- Was awarded the Maintenance Expert Certificate at the
Schindler Head Office in Switzerland in 2017
- Knowledge has more than Nineteen Years of Experience in the Elevator and Escalator Industry

- Knowledge Chizano is RYTE LIFTS DIRECTOR OF
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS
- joined the then Schindler Lifts Zimbabwe in 2003 as a lift Technician
- underwent intensive in-house trainings on elevator and escalator maintenance at Schindler Head Office in Johannesburg, South Africa before being appointed to the position of Senior Technician in 2011
- appointed to the position of Trouble Shooter in 2015 before being further appointed to the position of
Schindwe Lifts Bulawayo Branch Manager
- returned to Harare and resumed his position of Trouble Shooter as well as being Senior Technician until his resignation from Schindwe in 2020
- has more than Seventeen Years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry.
